Double-side Multi-touch Input for Mobile Devices

Rather then having only a single screen for input why not have two? With two screen you are able to do interacted with objects on the screen in a more realistic fashion. By adding a touch screen to the back side of a mobile device you can grab, drag, and manipulate objects as if you were holding them in the real world, and potentially increases the number of functions the user can preform.

Another advantage of using two touch screens rather then one is for simple space saving issues. By being able to preform actions like scrolling and zooming with the back touch screen the user has more space to view and interact with object on the front screen.

Even though there is only a prototype of this two touch screen device, there have been several studies showing it is not more complicated and confusing for the user having two touch screens instead of one.

By creating a device which has additional functionally built right into it with a second touch screen and it doesn't come at the cost of added confusion for the user but rather may be more intuitive in some cases, it may be the future of mobile devices.

DEWS Toothbrush

A innovative useful design works without you even having to think about it. This is exactly how the DEWS toothbrush functions, and it is perfect for anyone who is worried about the amount of germs residing on their toothbrush.

DEWS Toothbrush Concept: Self-Standing Toothbrush
As you can see in the photo above the DEWS toothbrush has a weighted bottom that allows it to righten itself upright when set down on a flat surface. This means all of the unknowns that are living on your bathroom counter top do not end up on your toothbrush or eventually in your mouth.

This design allows the user to use the functionally of the device without even trying to. All one must do is simply place the toothbrush on a flat surface and the design of the brush will take over. Unfortunately  the DEWS toothbrush was never picked up by a major retailer so it will be hard to come by.

Water Bobble: The ReDesigned Water Bottle

Ever been dying of thirst and the only source of water available taste like it has been sitting in a rusty pipe for years? Or ever feel guilty about buying water from a store where you know that the pastic bottle that it came in will only end up in a landfill? Well worry no more thanks to the innovative design of Water Bobble.

Water Bobble Water Bobble Filters Water As You Drink

The Water Bobble places a new perspective on traditional filtration systems, where it filters while you drink.  Not only that but a single Bobble filter will clean up to 300 bottles of water or about 40 gallons. This means potentially 300 plastic bottle out of the landfill and more money in your pocket.

The Bobble design combines the portably and ease of a water bottle with the economical and environmental benefits of a water filtration system. Furthermore, it comes in a 100% recyclable water bottle and a variety of different colors.

The design of this water bottle does not add any additional stress on to the user. Anyone who has used a water bottle will intuitively understand how to  operate the Bobble. There is no wait time for the water to be filtered through, the user just has to simply drink. The innovative design along with the intuitive nature of the Bobble makes it a serious threat to the water bottle industry and may change how we view drinking water.
